Nous aimons faire du shopping!

Malaysia Mega Sale

During the one week holiday break, i was supposed to meet up with qianxing for my birthday present, i was supposed to go for voice training ktv sessions with guowei, i wanted to go to the beach, i wanted to go jogging to train a little for 2.4 come sept 1st

But i gave up on doing all of these to go to KL for a super shopping trip with my mom....Wow!!! Super...Malaysia shoes are so pretty...fantastic man!! and so cheap got sale somemore .................. q(^.^)p.....Woohoo!!! And the FOS!! So big and choc full of brands FOS in Singapore dont carry...they even have brands like paul frank and polo ralph polo tees, plus abercrombie flip flops, GAP!! ...hurhur...but if we carried anymore our luggage was seriously gonna burst, we bought 10 pairs of shoes and i managed to fit 8 pairs into one luggage!!Power xia....but seriously malaysia's shopping is good but not itself, the transport system is not user friendly at all, be it mrt or taxi wise. Shall not elaborate, sensitive issue. Best thing is to drive in, or to contact local relatives or friends..

hurhur..i bought 6 pairs of shoes about 3 t-shirts, 2 bras, a thong, a pair of shorts, many pairs of earrings, not that much i think only about 4/5 pairs.....cant remember liao lar, got too much!! hurhur...got everything i want except a big gold/silver bag..dont think i need to be going shopping in singapore anytime soon girls

Obsession

Am i your sunshine in the morning
Am i your first thought of the day
Is it me you want to have breakfast with
Is it me you want to see
Does your last thought before you sleep belong to me
Do i occupy your dreams
Am i your obsession

important note = This is not the way i feel, just some creative poem writing. This shows a kind of dangerous obsessed love of a girl who wants total control over someone.

Senoirity makes you king

I am talking about a very different type of senoirity in Singapore, not those found in schools and such.

Every Morning on the bus..being the good girl i am i usually leave the seat for an old ah ma, if i see one, or i give it up if i encounter one later. I find that most of the elderly are very appreciative on the kindness and respect for them of us youngsters give them when we give up our seat. Sometimes however, i really have a problem deciding whether i should give up my seat. Don't judge me yet, those who take bus and mrt regularly will get what i mean. There are those elderly who are really very frail and old while there are those who still have a head full of black hair and look very healthy. So sometimes sitting there, i wonder if i should give it up or not, cos they dont have any problem balancing and stuff. Another problem is that of pregnancy, obviously if a woman is heavily pregnant, i give up my seat to her, but what about those women or aunties who have big tummies but are not pregnant. Nowadays clothing for pregnant woman are more and more fashionable, they no longer wear those ugly clothing for expecting ladies. Sometimes sitting in my seat in the mrt, listening to my music, i stare at the tummies of these women and wonder if they are pregnant and if i should give up my seat to them. What if they are not pregnant and i end up embarrassing myself?

Another important issue is the increasing rudeness of the middle set of singaporeans (30-60). The government has either given up on its courtesy campaign or have totally neglected it. In either case, i seriously think it doesnt work. Just last week, i was taking the bus to lavender mrt for school. This woman who was alighting, stepped on all five of my toes and then proceeded to say, "EXCUSE ME". The nerve.

And many a time, when alighting from the mrt at toa payoh, aged fat auntie types (not to discriminate against them due to their size) like to push their way into the trains before we can even alight. Whatever happened to basic courtesy. More and more i observe these acts of rudeness as i go about my daily way of life. Although they arent rampant, they are still very much noticeable. I wonder if the adult population are so rude, how do they expect the new generation to be any better?

The irony of flowers

There are flowers abound in my house, but their presence continually reminds me that my mother just went through another operation. If it was really an ovarian cyst, this would be the 4th time she got one and the 3rd time she had an operation because of it. No matter how bright and cheery they are, they cant seem to hide the fact that my mother is in pain again, for simply being a woman.

Online Shopping

These few weeks, deprived of actual shopping (other than the last sunday when i went to chiong the mango sale)...i have been window shopping online? Why window shopping? Because all the things i like are from overseas websites, shipping is damn ex and exchange rates arent low either, esp the british pound which is currently x3..sigh sigh...some of the sites i frequent...shall show you the nice things that i save in my pictures folder and keep looking..sigh sigh

Asos - a british website specialising in reproducing celebrity like clothing
Abercrombie and Fitch - the brand made famous in asia by the LFO song
American Eagle - nice polos sometimes
Victoria's Secret - like who's never heard of them??

The following are examples of what asos.com offers...so nice, sigh and so expensive

Sick again

I really hate being sick, but then again..who doesnt right?? i fell sick last weekend i think...maybe nah...it was last sunday, i got a sore throat which progressed to sort of a flu...when everything went away, i'm left with this terrible cough...I cough so bad i disrupt the lessons and have to walk out of the class to cough....it came to a point last night when i woke up to cough..i puked....oh man...i had to see the today.

This cough has disrupted my social life, no mood for ktv, no mood for clubbing, no mood for shopping, i dont even feel like doing work or going to school. sorry if i have been sort of a hermit, not meeting you guys and stuff. i'm weak.

Anyways, hope i get well soon and post more entries. In the meantime i will go and rest.
