As time ticks by
Our youth fades away
The time of our lives
now seem so far from my memory

The years pass by
and my memories of you fade
till i hardly think of what we shared

Was it so long ago
that we laughed together
talked together
sang together
believed in forever

and time passes by
so slowly without the joys
we had in our younger days
without the wild ways
that we don't have the energy for any longer

No one ever said it was easy
letting a friend go
but why was it so with you
Was it something i never did
feelings i never shared
or was it just me you didnt like.
