Have you ever noticed this? Whenever you walk in a crowd, you'd tend to fear the head - on - head encounters. Let me explain, whenever you encounter someone walking towards your direction, in your direct path, that person will veer to a direction and it just so happens that you will always veer in that same direction (i.e. she left you right which makes it the same since you are facing each other). You will go on in this direction, all the while willing her/him in your mind to change direction. Until finally, you almost collide, then will you change your direction. Oh, the little quirks of city life.
