Shopping!!
The Louvre
The gardens, every single thing here has gardens and its always huge...like HUGE!
This is the louvre courtyard the louvre is housed in all the old buildings you see in this courtyard
There huge gardens isnt it? Right in front is the egyptian obelisk i loaded the other day and the triumph arc. Paris is constructed very symmetrically everthing, all the monuments, palaces are built symmetrically, when versailles was built it had to be symmetrical to the road leading to paris!
The city is full of fountains! here's yet another one!
We bought ice cream then debby <-- loser drop my little ice cream!! *CRY* *SOB* booooo
so we boughts another one!! this kristalle with my new ice cream! 2 balls o yea!
The Mona Lisa! It's a tad small though, cos we arent supposed to take pictures in her hall but well who really cares...
So etheral this painting...i dont know what it is though.
The paintings were so huge, the hallways had to be THIS huge to accomodate them...
Venus De Milo....and that just about wraps up our Louvre tour, we went for japanese food after and had to stay in the restaurant a while cos it started raining and we didnt have umbrellas! Lol...the waitress was mighty pretty though, looked japanese but could have been chinese, not sure really...
Secret Doorway?!?! lol looks like we got something to explore!
Fancy a bath?! In a huge ass bathtub no less! Haha!!

Chateau Versailles
the king's apartments are roughly in the building behind. they face the gardens
more touristy pictures
big ass fountains
avenue of trees, its so beautiful, so tall the trees, it looks like the military wedding with the cross swords thing but just with trees.
there really is not much to see inside the palace itself(it is undeniably beautiful though), just many elaborately furnished rooms, the king + queen's chambers, paintings depicting the royal family as saints & etc...the only place of real note is the hall of mirrors (which was only opened a few days ago after extensive restoration work), which is the ballroom where parties and balls used to be held...there are many other rooms and hallways that are closed or not allowed for entry which is obvious as we only walked through a small portion of the palace
the king's bedroom
the queen's bedroom
the chapel in the versailles
Fire Artists
and the most amazing one firework chains!!
