The Louvre

hello!! on this monday of unstable weather we went out with my younger cousin Jacky to the louvre! We gonna see the Mona lisa bitches!

The gardens, every single thing here has gardens and its always huge...like HUGE!

This is the louvre courtyard the louvre is housed in all the old buildings you see in this courtyard

There huge gardens isnt it? Right in front is the egyptian obelisk i loaded the other day and the triumph arc. Paris is constructed very symmetrically everthing, all the monuments, palaces are built symmetrically, when versailles was built it had to be symmetrical to the road leading to paris!

The city is full of fountains! here's yet another one!

We bought ice cream then debby <-- loser drop my little ice cream!! *CRY* *SOB* booooo

so we boughts another one!! this kristalle with my new ice cream! 2 balls o yea!

The Mona Lisa! It's a tad small though, cos we arent supposed to take pictures in her hall but well who really cares...

So etheral this painting...i dont know what it is though.

The paintings were so huge, the hallways had to be THIS huge to accomodate them...

Venus De Milo....and that just about wraps up our Louvre tour, we went for japanese food after and had to stay in the restaurant a while cos it started raining and we didnt have umbrellas! Lol...the waitress was mighty pretty though, looked japanese but could have been chinese, not sure really...

Secret Doorway?!?! lol looks like we got something to explore!

Fancy a bath?! In a huge ass bathtub no less! Haha!!

Chateau Versailles

On this fair sunday, we venture forth to the Chateau Versailles
The starting point of the beautiful gardens
and fountains of versailles. Normally on weekdays, the gardens are free entry but the fountains have no water, on weekends they switch on the taps for the fountains and charge you 7 euros for entry. (-_-); using the history of france to leech tourist $$....

the king's apartments are roughly in the building behind. they face the gardens

more touristy pictures

big ass fountains

so imagine one day some guy tells you...hey you wanna go for a walk in my garden, then you'd be like ok?! why not.....and he brings you to this garden...it stretches past the huge ass lake behind (where ppl are rowing boats)...

avenue of trees, its so beautiful, so tall the trees, it looks like the military wedding with the cross swords thing but just with trees.

there really is not much to see inside the palace itself(it is undeniably beautiful though), just many elaborately furnished rooms, the king + queen's chambers, paintings depicting the royal family as saints & etc...the only place of real note is the hall of mirrors (which was only opened a few days ago after extensive restoration work), which is the ballroom where parties and balls used to be held...there are many other rooms and hallways that are closed or not allowed for entry which is obvious as we only walked through a small portion of the palace

Tour L'eiffel

Pics my uncle took with his camera. Because we are such lazy bums we keep taking pictures of just the scenery and neglected to add 'us' inside. After loading photos many times, we noticed it. (-_-);

Fire Artists

(fire chains-2 chains with flamable ball ends)
(will load a video soon)

There are people with various interests in Paris, and one of them are the people who play with fire, literally. They are street buskers who use various pyrotechnics and fire equipment to perform. One is the basic fire pole, fire chains,

and the most amazing one firework chains!!

Music festival pics

i think there was a DJ up there or something, they were playing trance, and some ppl went up there to dance...hot yea? haha when the fire blows u can really feel the heat even from down where i was standing.

manga cafe! you can buy a cup of whatever, and read whatever manga they have inside! cool?

night time! my other pictures were too blurry to use..bleargh

even their longkang looks nice (-_-);

The most beautiful Starbucks I'd ever seen

Welcome

to

Starbucks.
lol, the first thing u normally see when you go into starbucks is of course, the coffee counter. For this particular starbucks, it is of course the same, the only thing is you dont see any seats yet. Until you turn to your right, and your jaw literally drops open. Not from the couple making out like they're in heat on one of the sofas(there really was one) but from the beauty of this place, it being well...starbucks, even some of the sofas are of a lavish gilt framed style...talk about wow.

View from our room

this is the view from our room

the whole of paris looks about like this. short buildings, old architectural style. the only way you tell which is a rich neighbourhood is the style of the buildings, more expensive flats have more metal work, nicer balconies etc, and better shops below, and more beautiful maindoors..
