Champagne

Here we are today at Moët et Chandon! We are taking the imperial tour and are entitled to one glass of Brut Imperial. Woo hoo, we took a 2 hour drive here, had lunch @ Maccers then went in ahead for our cave tour.. the caves are huge! For the price of 11€, you get the tour? and a glass of champagne, and to think we were almost cheated of 93€.. (-_-);

So here we go into the caves after a short introduction video! Basically, they just led us through the champagne making process of Moët et Chandon..It tqkes about 6 years or so, to produce one batch! The maturing stage is the longest at about 3 years.. I'm that bottle also i xian ji pua 3 yrs stay one place
This is one long corridor and the caves are full of them at the end of this corridor is a big barrel that Napoleon gave to Jean-Remy Moët. The story is the barrel never belonged to Napolean and never contained any Champagne. It was a barrel full of port that was on its way to The King of Bulgaria (i think that's what she said). Napoleon being Napoleon stole it, drank all the port, didn't know what to do with it and gave the empty barrel to his good friend.. what an asshole, lols

Can you guess how many bottles there are here in this one arch alone, .... ok you can stop counting, there are more behind, it stretches back 8 feet deep and there are 21000 bottles here; according to the last line on the little board you see there..

This is the 2nd fermentation process where this time they ferment still wines into champagne itself; it is fermented with the cap sealed so that the carbon dioxide does not escape. and this is how you get Champagne!

Walking along in the caves... hoping to drink our champagne soon!

We are just outside the room to drink Champagne!!!

Bottoms up! Delicious!!!

Can i bring you home, little baby bottle. lol! its huge!

See... luen drink a little bit only whole face red... hahaha me no have..gua gua gua (-_-);
