this morning was free..so went out for lunch with ben as mom had to work till after lunch. We made our way to clarke quay for lunch..but when we reached we found out it was under a massive renovation...(where ever you go, the malls are somehow under renovation these days)
anyways, we walked around a bit till ben's friends, lennon and ananda, reached. went to liang court as well..could see why the jap housewives dont really go there anymore, aint nothing much there cept for the supermarket below. after lunch at brewerkz, which was quite good btw..i had sheperd's pie and ben had the brewerkz burger..very yummy. hmmm..then after which..we went to watch collateral...not that great seriously.
as it turns out..there was no dinner today...so went down to catch the fireworks with ben! this week smarter...take mrt!! was very packed....in fact extremely, so much so that the ang moh next to us said that it was crazy..and then proceeded to leave the train to watch the fireworks we told him about..everyone was in this mad rush to get out of the trains and onto the escalators. There was quite a lot of pushing and shoving... lucky me...nobody stepped onto me toes..as they are still recovering from the heel in the cinema accident..( this woman.wearing a heel just plowed right onto my toes..OUCH* and anyway back to my day. So we got out of the train station and decided to stick around in the padang area..the view was okay..couldnt see the small ones only the big ones..but never mind...as long as i'm with ben. but it ended too soon!!
and so, we took the train back to orchard..as the car was there. smart sister..tumpang go home. oh well..here i am now..and i miss him already...arent i lousy?
