Anyway, i was thinking of gifts i could get ling and meik and ppl when uncle winston goes back again, i was thinking: Meik and ling: Jay Chou's new album, that is if they havent d/led the whole thing already; and their manga which they are sadly deprived of, by the way meiks tsubasa river chronicle has new books while ling's xxxholic is still at the one i bought her last time think 5 or something Xing Tou: i'm not really sure about him, pretty out of touch with this little guy nowadays, maybe a t-shirt? luen: she still owes me last year's chrismas prez..haahahah

Race and Character

From playing World of Warcraft, the belief that bad character spans nationalities and races is further solidified. Various nationalities and races play World of Warcraft and the next person you meet in game could very well be from Australia, US, Singapore,Msia, China, Korea, Canada, Germany, New Zealand or basically anywhere at all. Bad character and people who are simply assholes could be found anywhere or in any corner in our game. There are many more people however, who are very nice. But guys being guys sometimes it can be like this when they think that they are mostly interacting with other guys in the game. Because everyone knows that guys treat girls better than guys.

Bad character does not limit itself to one race or nationality, this gives us even more reason to downplay racism. Why, when people know that some guy from another race could be a better guy than someone from the race they prefer, they still ostracize the good guy. Many people, especially in the older generations, still practice such prejudice. Even if the guy from the majority race is a complete bastard and the guy from the minority could make you happier, they would still like the complete bastard, just because they are of the same race.

Anticipation of a sale

When you know you're going for a special sale, there's a sort of anticipation within you. As you stroll along on your way, you start to think of what you will grab, you look around you to see if anyone else would be going along. You slowly walk along in the shopping centre looking at the shops while you let your excitement build. Then as you near the entrance of the shop, you prepare for war.

thats about it, i havent been shopping much recently...only doing in-game shopping...which is a term used to describe a situation where a lvl 60 character (i am only 40) takes you through a place, kill everything in sight and let you take all the loot. Which is basically shopping.

Oh and anyway, the white top in this post has been bought by matilda. Sigh, my loss is her gain.

Micro Bikini

I was surfing around the net in the office when i found a site selling micro brazilian bikinis. Woahz, these bikinis are so way tiny they'd make any guy's nose bleed. The last one is the sexiest... just enough to cover the vital parts. All brazilian g-string bikinis. Including shipping cost and exchange rate conversions. These scraps of cloth would set you back a hefty S$91...all this money...and the bikini bottom is smaller than a match book as so claims the website...Talk about taking spending on a few scraps of cloth to new heights. Though they would look great as underwear... * naughty thoughts fly into debby's head* not that i have a great body anyway. Sighz

Tsunami in Sg?

Apparently, a well known expert from Thailand, has predicted that Tsunamis in future may hit Sg and Msia as reported in The Straits Times , refer to article on the left,..is it big enough..? if not..refer to this link: http://img345.imageshack.us/my.php?image=singapore9ux2ku.jpg

I sincerely hope, this does not happen, even if it does, if these tsunamis really hit us, i do hope that there will be minimal damage or that we will be lucky and be sheltered again...This article appeared in The Straits Times on Oct 15...

refer to map above, the black cross mark is where the Earthquake hit last Dec 26, which triggered the Tsunami disaster. The red-lined coasts are the affected areas from that tsunami. The expert predicts the Tsunami-triggering earthquakes will hit somewhere above the andaman & nicobar islands, which is around the red circle i drew....If an earthquake does happen, and a tsunami is triggered...the waves will head diagonally(south-east, the waves spread out in a circle, which i'm sure everyone knows) down the Straits of Malacca, affecting Malaysia and Singapore, Malaysia will take the brunt of the damage. The west side, as can be seen from the map will take most of the damage, but as Singapore is low-lying, maybe the whole island will be affected?

However, i wonder how credible this source is or how real the Sg government perceive this threat as because there is no word from them. And the Sg government being its practical self, is not one to sit around if there are threats to the island's safety...Though there is still no word about the Early Tsunami Detection System pledged to be built after the Tsunamis last Dec...
