Chinese New Year is good for us young kids mainly because of the angbaos we receive. But sometimes dont you just dread going to another relatives house, where you will be compared with the hosts' son or daughter. Oh, whose result was better, who is doing what in which university. Sometimes i wonder why parents cant be satisfied. Goodness, these things can really stress people out.
I wonder what kristalle must feel like, having just finished her o levels and all. I've noticed this trend of grade comparing year after year. and it just so happens that the release of results is always around or near the chinese new year. Its funny, parents sometimes. Think of your kid, for goodness' sake.
