Something happened in school.
Something dreadful happened in school today. Someone fell from the 7th floor at block T16. right now, information is very jumbled and messy. I dont know if she fell or she jumped and i also dont know if she is alive or not. The whole school is talking about it. I have to find out what really happened. I think it will be all over the papers tomorrow morning.
It seems everywhere we look, there is death, war, massacre, terrorists hold-ups. Where is the love? Shall not talk about it. Bring's a feeling of huge trepidation, like the world is coming to an end or something.
I went back to SR with brian(the pig) today. We went back to visit Madam, talk to teachers. Going back brings back a huge wave of nostalgia. Brings me back to the times in jc when i was struggling with my studies yet having the time of my life. Talking to madam(who was very busy). The place has changed some. Some changes good, some changes bad. Apparently, Miss Doreen Heng has retired(Qinyi will be glad to hear this). But Lao Shi also told me she retired due to health problems. Hope she is doing well.
After such a long time, i can say that Brian is pretty much the same. Nothing more to say about him. A little more mature maybe but maybe he was like that all the time. dont know
Spent time with ben today, cos i was a notty gal. Ha!! Shall not tell you all. I shall remain a good gal in thine eyes.

so many things to say!!!
yesterday was kristalle's (my sister) birthday. and like all typical 16 year old MG gals, she had a party...with all her friends and family.there were around 30 plus i guess...didnt actually count. we had the typical food but with my mom's not to typical but excellent nonetheless BBQ food. It was also Ben's first time(ooh er). meeting my mom! Ha! What were you thinking??
I ordered the cake from Matilda's aunt. Ordered for 30 plus people actually, was wondering if it was enough, but when i saw the cake, it was enough. Went to collect the cake with Ben at Upper Thomson. Our job for the day. The cake is fantastic!!! Thanks matilda, the sponge is so smooth!! And the chocolate is jelly like but not completely jelly-like so you can still feel the texture of the chocolate!
Everyone was having fun. Kris's friends were dunking everyone in the pool, they played water bombs for a while. The family memebers just sat around talking, laughing, watching them have fun. But they are very fun to watch, we were like laughing the whole time they were playing.They even used the slide( it slides into the pool) as a 'watch tower' during water bombs, ingenious!! Me and Ben just sat around, eating, talking, joking. Think Ben was comfortable but a little nervous at the same time. And Ha!! I have possesion of this cap!!! It is finally mine!!!! ALL MINE!!!
After which, we went to watch midnite show at Shaw and missed the first part again. Resident Evil!! Exciting but scary..and you can see Milla Johovich's boobs(this is a fact, so no one can sue me.
Over all, i really enjoyed the night, i even had a swim..
Sometimes, it really amazes me how trule borderless the internet is. I have a comment from someone in Canada! You dont really realise these things until they happen to you. I really wonder who reads my blog regularly, other than those who know me.
Oh and check this site out. It's a dig at Apple and Steve Job. Pretty Funny in a *uh??* way. You'll get it, once you see it.

interesting blogs
during my break, which is now, i decided to muck around the internet and i found these blogs listed by blogger, they are quite interesting, some amusing.
It is amazing the number of singaporean girls who cant cook at all or cant cook very well(i think i'm in this category). This blog includes recipes and directions on how to make mouth watering looking dishes..maybe we could learn a thing or two from these engineers.
There's also another one that is rather special. They say Bill Clinton was(dont know if its was or is) going to have a bypass operation(didnt specify when) this blog was created specially for people to send greetings to. Click Here

a hot thursday afternoon
there arent many significant events, funny stories, thoughts to write about but i will update u guys a little.
1. class was cancelled today, so i am back home early, i am supposed to be doing work but i am too tired. It is one day in many days that i actually have a break for myself to relax. there has been too much work lately. there are 6 assignments(projects) due in week 4 and week 2 is already coming to an end. so far, we have only finished 3. there are 3 more to go.
2. the notebook has conked out, and since hello decides not to work on this computer, i cannot post pictures. I have to use the old way of coding html, which is very tedious. so, not much photos for u guys. only if i am in a good mood will you get some.
3. you would have probably realised by now that i also changed the layout * yet again*. i decided to go back to the blogger layouts, i have come to think that they are quite nice after all. not complicated simple, everything is done nicely for you. all you have to do is start typing. saves you the time and hassle. and few people use these templates, so well..
4. YAY!! Mummy is coming home today!! finally after going about for 2/3 weeks dont know which is which. she left for HK todays after coming home from KL. I miss my mummy, no one to laugh at my stupid jokes, sigh, besides ben that is.
5. i cannot log into the new SP information system from here to see when the exam time table is released. oh well, i guess i will have to try it in school.

my days
my days with ben are somehow very simple yet very enjoyable. We like to do nothing at all. Sitting around on benches doing nothing, taking pictures, laughing at each other, telling jokes.
On friday, we went to ikea to walk around, testing mattresses, sofas, picking up thinks to look at and touch at random, walking around. Talking about what we could put in ben's room to try and spruce it up a little. It sounds like nothing much but somehow i really enjoyed myself. There isnt anything i dont like doing with ben. I finally got to eat the hot dog at ikea again after such a long time. If any of you go there anytime soon, you have to eat it. i like it mainly cos the bread is crispy and the sausage is very good. but its plain with no toppings nothing.
On saturday, after school, we went to watch Dodgeball, it is very funny, a good watch if you feel like a laugh, i give it 3 stars! I feel like some newspaper movie critic, ha! And i got my new pair of shoes!! Ben is quite disgruntled that i actually got it. Cos its really VERY high. May will attest to that! I think it is almost 4 inches!! OMG!! How am i going to walk in it? Ben is very afraid i would fall in it and has advised me not to wear it to school. I wouldnt do it either, wouldnt want to fall and disgrace myself.
Yesterday wasnt such a good day, i had cramps.
Oh well, it is another monday in school, another day having classes, another hour in a classroom. Sigh, the life of a student is so monotonous. Homework, tests, assignments, competition and lunch. How fun.

mockeries
in school today, us girls were talking about girlie topics like pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion and marriage.
Matilda's friend had some problems with her period coming late and got so worried she is so stressed up. so this got the ball rolling on a hodpodge of other topics.
First. Many young ones today, do many things for fun, for the thrill of it, without looking at the consequence, how it would affect them in future. And when a problem really happens, they drag things out, hoping to dull of the reality of what has happened. As if trying to escape the problem but problems still have to be solved.
Two. In society today, many marriages dont last? Why? It has become a mockery. When people run into problems its just divorce. No one wants to take the effort to really stay and solve the problem. In the past, people had not much choice as divorce was rather taboo. They had to stay to work it out. But now, it is not so. If you ask yourself. How much did you try? Can you honestly say you tried your absolute best? Maybe not. In today's selfish world, maybe not.

life is short
Life is a journey. Some journeys are short and some are long. Some are filled with glory and fame. Some just peace and happiness. But recently, an acquaintance's 10 year old daughter is a few days away from leaving this world. I feel sad, knowing what has happened. It isnt even cancer or a life threatening diesease. It was just a fever, and the germs got to the heart. I pray that there might be a miracle, but i know no matter how hard i hope the reality is that it is almost impossible for her to live. But i will hope to the last min. I hope anyone who reads this will hope or pray together with me. Today is her 2nd day, she has 5 days.
In some selfish way, i am glad that she is only 10. Although she may still have a long road in front of her, she is still young, and would have less to let go of. It would have been much harder and sadder if she was 20 or so.
I hope that all of us will try to look at life as such. That we must use our time wisely, to love those who care for us. Not to waste our time on needless activities. Many a time, we do things thinking they are important, then fail to remember what really matters.
Many people in this world fail to look at the big picture. We are all selfish creatures. In order to fulfill our own selfish desires, we hurt others. Be it in a small way, or in a big way(bombings, massacres, war etc).
All this world needs is a little more love and selflessness in everyone. It will be a much brighter place. Love really does make the world go round.

my philosophy in life is to do unto others what you want done unto you. i try my best...(not all time) to help someone whom i can help. Sometimes it is an old auntie who needs help with directions. or even simpler, today someone needed a pad in the toilet. being the eavesdropper i am, i listened (eavesdropping is not so bad after all). Since i had one in my bag, i might as well give it to her.
If i had the ability to help that someone, what i hope for is for that someone to feel that there are people out there who care, and that she/he can be one of them too. It doesnt take an extraodinary person to lend a hand to someone else. All it takes is the willingness to do so.

Oh well my weekend was sort of ok, didnt get to meet ben much. but i went out with mom yesterday, cos she was going to hong kong today. was very excited about meeting ben today, cos i missed him lots. he slept the weekend away. sigh. he was tired.
We went to watch the terminal. It is very very hilarious. You guys HAVE to catch it. There are some lessons learnt as well. Compassion, Friendship, Politics, That life does not always go the way you want it. but just take it easy and take it as it comes.
We had a fun time, looking at great big beautiful houses. But i prob wont want to live in one. One it is too big. I am very lazy remember? 2. It gets scary at night. 3. You need to hire someone to clean it. 4. You need to mow the grass.on and on...ha!

another night ... and i'm worrying again..
its another lonely night. my day was okay, spending time with my mom as she is flying again tomorrow. she just got back yest. oh well...thats life. there are many mosquitoes under the table. have to get a mosquito coil soon. and ben is in jb. and i am worried again
when ben sees this i am going to be cut up and hung up to dry. i'm supposed to be sleeping already(have to wake at 7 tomorrow) but i cant sleep. i just cannot get to sleep. Never mind. i will try soon. in about 10 mins. i'll get something to eat first. good night. hope my baby is safe.
